Welcome to learningvet.com, the only veterinary specific learning and performance management platform! We are excited to have you! LearningVet was created to help make your life easier by streamlining performance conversations and pairing them with educational content.  With a strong focus on increasing practice communication and knowledge, we know your team will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to accelerate your practice’s success.

Within the next business day, you will receive a welcome email from LearningVet. Please be sure to check your spam folder for this email. It will invite you to create a password and log in. Once you are logged in, we recommend watching the LearningVet Basics for Managers course. This course will provide you with the information you need to help get your team in the system, creating goals, performance evaluations, assigning content, and more.

We have attached the LearningVet Quick Reference Guide for you here. This guide provides easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions for completing the basic tasks in the system. Video guides are also available here.

We have also attached a spreadsheet to help you upload your users into the LearningVet platform. The information you’ll need to enter in the spreadsheet in the columns is as follows:

  • Userid: The user’s email address. Be sure this is typed correctly, or the learner will not receive a login.
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Username: This will also be the user’s email address.
  • Email: Enter the team member’s email address one more time.
  • Manager ID: the email address for that person’s supervisor.
  • Hospital ID: Enter this into this field for each person:
  • Position ID: This is very important! Please select which position each team member best fits into from the list below. **We recommend you copy and paste these position IDs to ensure they are spelled correctly!
    • Associate Veterinarian: This is any veterinarian who is NOT a stakeholder in the practice
    • Client Care: This is any person in a receptionist-style position who is NOT a supervisor
    • Credentialed Patient Care: This is any person who is a credentialed technician (CVT/ RVT/ LVT, etc)
    • Patient Care: This is any person in a non-credentialed technical, doctor assistant, exam room assistant, or kennel assistant role
    • Practice Manager: This is any person who fills a management role that is higher than a department supervisor.
    • Practice Owner: This is any person who has an ownership stake in the practice
    • Supervisor: This is any person who oversees employees yet reports to the Practice Manager

Once you have completed the template, save it to your computer and follow the LearningVet Basics for Managers instructions for uploading users.
